Grilled zucchini  香烤西葫芦片             


Ingredients : 材料
2 eggs mixing 雞蛋2個打散
1 bowl of puree flour  麵粉1大碗
2 teaspoons chicken flavor 雞粉2茶匙
2 teaspoon garlic powder 大蒜粉2茶匙
1 teaspoon garlic powder 洋葱粉1茶匙
3 peeled zucchini slice 西葫芦3个去皮切片






1 bowl  Japanese  bread crumbs  麵包糠1
The amount of  salt and pepper to taste 
鹽和白胡椒粉適量
2 bowls vegetable oil  植物油   




Directions : 做法 :
1. Clean and peel 2 zucchinis. Cut both ends off and keep the skin on. Slice into ¼ thick slices and then set aside. 







 




1. 西葫蘆用水洗乾淨, 去掉頭尾的部份, 不需去皮, 將西葫蘆切成1/4 的厚薄片放入碗中, 擱一旁備用.



 2. Use three bowls. First bowl, is the all purpose flour 2 teaspoon garlic powder and chicken flavor. Second bowl, is the egg mixture. Third bowl is the  Japanese panko crumbs. If you want to make a bigger batch you can make more of the flour.



2. 用三個碗, 一個碗裡打散雞蛋2, 另一個碗放入1碗麵包糠, 最後一個碗放入玉米澱粉1碗或麵粉都可以, 把調味料大蒜粉2茶匙, 雞粉2茶匙, 加入麵粉裡攪拌勻.
 




3. Dip the zucchini first in the flour mixture then egg and then panko crumbs.  Place the zucchini in the baking pan. Line the zucchini so they won’t overlap each other



3. 每一片西葫蘆沾上一層薄薄麵粉, 每一片西葫蘆在蛋液里浸一下, 拿出來後裹上一層日式麵包糠. 並將西葫蘆片平鋪滿鋁箔烤盒上, 西葫蘆之間不要重疊擺放. 




4. Preheat oven 350 degrees and use a pot to add one cup water for moisture. Then bake the zucchinis for 20 minutes. After, flip over the zucchinis to bake the other side and then lower the heat to 250 and bake another 20 minutes.



4. 預熱至350 度的烤爐, 1杯水在烤盤底部裡, 放入西葫蘆片烤了20分鐘, 取出來用鏟子把每一片西葫蘆翻轉另一面烤, 之後將溫度降低至250度再烤20分鐘




5. Continue to bake until golden brown and crunchy. You can add salt and pepper to taste.

5. 然後繼續烤直到西葫蘆片兩面微微焦黃都呈金黃色, 以保持脆脆度口感. 即成美味香脆清爽的西葫蘆片. 按照口味將鹽和白胡椒粉適量撒在西葫蘆片上即可.





Feelings after eating  :  
This dish is an easy appetizer and taste delicious. The panko crumbs make it crunchy. My daughter love this dish and it makes me happy. I hope you guys try it and enjoy it  !

我自已製的香烤西葫蘆片出爐, 香蒜的濃鬱味道, 麵包糠拷得脆脆香香的味道有帶著大蒜的香味格外好吃, 女兒一口一口的要吃上一大碗, 看了她臉滿足的表情, 我感到很快樂 . 這個菜做法很簡單, 家裡有烤箱的網友可以試試.

Chuan Bei Sugar Stewed Pears  川貝冰糖燉雪梨



Ingredients : 材料:

1 small crystal sugar to taste  冰糖適量






1 cup of boiling water, or cold water  煮沸水一杯或清水
1 ounce chuan bei powder divided into four bags 川貝粉一兩分成四份




1/2 pears remove the seeds and  peel the skin
雪梨1/2顆去籽, 去皮切成大塊
Directions : 做法 : 

1. Wash the pears and then peel the skin. Cut the pear in two half and remove the seeds. Cut into large chunks. If you like, you can keep the skin on.           


                                                         


1.  半顆梨子, 洗淨, 削皮後將水梨切成兩半中間梗挖去籽切成大塊. 最好梨皮也要一起燉, 如果不喜歡連帶梨皮的口感, 也可以將削好的梨皮放在梨肉的下方一起燉. 

  

2. You can buy the Chinese herb, Chuan bei, at Chinese herb store. When you buy them they come in pieces. You can ask the herb store to grind the herb into a powder form. When you receive the packet of herb you can divide it into 4 parts so you can make this dish 4 times.




2. 川貝細粉中藥行都買得到, 建議買整粒未研磨的川貝母, 然後請店家幫磨成細粉, 店家建議我把一兩川貝粉分裝成4包的份量燉煮




3. In a small crock pot, put in 1 cup water and then put in the rest of the ingredients and  one piece of rock sugar. Steam the soup for about 6 hrs. If you want it more sweet you can add more rock sugar. You can steam it overnight until the pears are translucent.

3. 準備一盅燉鍋, 倒入一杯已經煮過的沸水, 放入梨子塊, 下川貝粉, 後再與冰糖共同燉煮6小時, 想吃甜點就放多一點冰糖. 您也可以燉更長的時間, 直至水梨肉呈現透明色. 




4. After the soup is ready you can either just drink the juice or eat it with the pears.



4. 川貝冰糖燉水梨燉好了, 只喝湯汁就好, 建議您喜歡的話也可以吃梨肉連同湯汁一起吃下即可

Feelings after eating  :
This Chinese medicine is known to cure with coughs. You can ask the workers at the Chinese medicine store. This herbal soup has a sweet taste and good for your health. You can also add honey to make it sweet and leave on the skin of the pear. Make sure that the pears are fully steamed and not .

這道川貝燉冰糖雪梨飲品, 滋潤甘甜對冶止咳化痰有一定療效良方, 我是從中藥行老闆教我如何燉的, 方法簡單又好喝. 您也可以帶梨皮一起燉煮, 效果應該很好, 不喜歡連帶梨皮的口感, 也可以將削好的梨皮放在梨肉的下方一起燉. 記得咳嗽時候雪梨不能直接吃生, 結果會越吃越咳嗽. 希望您一起分享這簡單又好喝的飲品
